Who We Are
A compassionate, enriching foundation aiding in the advancement for the youth.
City on the Hill Youth Foundation is a non-profit, community-based organization created to minister to the at-risk youth of Chicago. We focus on the youth 16-21. Our facility is located on the southside of Chicago. We provide one-on-one vocational mentorship and assistance with trade apprenticeship programs. Coupled with our community events we instill value and work ethic in all of our members. Furthermore, we pride ourselves on being a safe haven for our youth before and after school, sheltering them from potential violence.
What We do
We are hands on with helping the youth in our community get involved in activities and programs that can promote success in their future endeavors.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between formal and informal education. Our focus is to educate and revitalize at risk youth in Chicago between the ages of 16-21 with tools and information about skilled trades. We plan to accomplish this through vocational mentoring. The foundation will foster relationships between mentors that work in the professional trade and students that are interested in becoming a tradesman/tradeswoman.
